The real world v’s The Internet - Are you a skeptic or internet nerd?
Well this has to be one of the most debated subjects in the world some people have a laptop clues to their body and can’t live without, they get cold turkey when they lose the connection on their PC, while the other side of the coin is the people who stay as far away of the computer as possible.
Which side are you, to be honest if your reading this your not one of the sceptics, however do you just dabble on the internet or do you spend 12 hours a day on it and i’m not talking about work! You hear about people online gaming, games such as World of war craft have got people constantly connected, people use the internet for al sorts it constantly pushed, “Get it on your mobile phone” i know it can be useful sometimes and often cirtain websites can actual help you in the real world, i.e. organise a party and post your invites on facebook, or lost get Google maps on the scene.
So the question is do you think its sad to spend that much time on the internet?
- Did you find your lover in a chat room?
- Are you an e-bay junkie?
- Addicted to facebook, myspace, bebo?
Well you know what to do, have your say on the “worlds most commented”!

What a funny blog! can’t believe some on came up with this idea, that’s why the internet is great you get stupid things all over it, but they make sense, looks like I’,m the first to find this site definitely going to stumble it, so the internet is what you make of it, if you don’t like it then don’t use it!
March 14th, 2008 at 8:21 pm
My mate rob just MSN’d this blog, what the ****? It’s mad what people will make but thought I’d put my mark down, peace
March 14th, 2008 at 8:34 pm
To be honest its a bit geeky to stay on the internet all day long, whether just browsing or gaming, i don’t mind a hour here or there but it’s a little like “get a life” walk outside breath some fresh air, i can’t believe some people!
March 15th, 2008 at 9:00 pm
why do people always feel the need to discuss other people’s business and spend most of the time on the internet I link up with a number of on-line friends who are probably more reliable than off lien friends, they not late, i don’t have to look at people’s ugly faces all day, real world v’s the internet, i’d choose the internet all day long!
March 15th, 2008 at 9:18 pm
Well my stand point is using the internet for what its good at making money, the amount of money pumped into the internet whether to buy products or market them is huge! I don’t know what people don’t just embrace it, to many people are always talking about conspiracy theory and that soon people won’t know the difference between reality and the web, well as long as i can feel pissed and get laid and make money, i’m not really bothered.
March 15th, 2008 at 9:19 pm
NICE TO SEE PEOPLE HAVE STARTED TO LEAVE COMMENTS, THIS POST IS CURRENTLY IN THE LEAD WITH 5(6) COMMENTS, THERE IS STILL A LONG WAY OFF, BUT GOOD TO SEE THE DISCUSSION HAS STARTED!
March 25th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
I’d take the real world without a doubt, why would you choose cyber sex over real sex? who would!
March 25th, 2008 at 8:14 pm
People always make so much controversy on what people want to do with their own time, get a life if “johnny” wants to spend all day gaming then that’s upto him, at least he’s not being a “dick” getting pissed and making trouble.

Often the Internet has advantages over the real world with business, you can create a business with very little cost this allows you to test the market and see how succeful your idea might be.

The web has many advantages you can commicate easily and cheaply but at the end of the day sometimes it has to be face to face to finish a deal or reach the right conclusion.

The net has definitely empowered us in many ways and made the world a smaller place. Sometimes, we don’t realize that. We must realize when to spend time on the net and when to do other things in life as well. If we can maintain that balance, we can appreciate the net.

The KKK needs to be put to an end. Thier harrassment towards black people has been taken to far. As the KKK continues to grow so does racial tension. As racial tensions grow the crime rate is going to climb. As a result this could lead to a black v.s white war. Making it dangerous for citizens to leave their himes for a simple walk on their street.

The book is dated (the latest edition is 1991 and it dates back a bit further than that), but it is lively and excellent at pointing out the extraordinary biases of science and scientists and lack of internal consistency and logic in many anti astrology arguments. It contains a decent section on the indignities and outright bigotry aimed at Gauquelin up to the publication of this work.

I go on the internet everyday to check my facebook, myspace, email, stuff like that. After that, I do whatever I want on the internet because I’m bored. Also, I know this doesn’t fit in with my internet addiction, but I want a hobby so I can escape my internet addiction maybe like basketball or football. Can someone give me a few tips on any of these sports? Thanks for wonderful post.

I spend 16 hours a day on the internet and I really need to stop. I feel like a missed out on so many things but getting a hobby or some such isn’t so easy. Surprisingly, the internet isn’t so helpful because a lot of people seem to think that internet addiction is a joke. So, Is there some tips how do you treat internet addiction? Thanks

The more difficult question for our profession is how to be relevant in either the “real world” or “virtual world.” Are we increasing alumni engagement? Has anyone created an alumni association benchmark for Facebook? It’s hard to know what kind of impact we are making with social media. On the other hand, compared to the “real world” we may be doing great.

I think this is really retarded. If you have never met this person then ur only imagining a relationship. It’s all in ur head. What is so wrong with these individuals that they can’t find someone in person? Are they really that lonely, do they have issues? It’s just a distraction from the real world

In the real world we own our name. I’ve got a birth certificate somewhere which confirms who I am and, short of changing it by deed poll, this name will remain with me until I shuffle off this mortal coil. Although there’s quite a few Gary Gales out there on the Internet, this one is inextricably me and no-one can take that away from me.

There’s a lot of drama as well as emotions between humans. Also, there’s a lot of depth and complications in human interactions. On the other hand, other living things focus much more on simply surviving and they fight with one another in effort to live. Unlike human beings, who fight often for very trivial reasons.

I would have to say probably the ethics involved in Euthanasia. In the classic Hippocratic Oath it says not to harm your patient, but there are always circumstances which make things different.
